진단검사의학과는 환자의 혈액, 소변, 체액, 조직 등의 정보로 각종 인체 검체를 대상으로 검사를 시행하고 평가하고 해석하는 검사의학으로서 모든 진료의 기초이자 의학연구의 필수 분야입니다.
환자의 정보를 토대로 검사하고 판독하여, 검증된 검사 결과로 질환을 조기에 파악하면서, 예방하도록 돕습니다.

요 검사(Urinalysis) 일반뇨 검사에서는 요 검경, 요 화학 및 요 정성 검사가 시행됩니다.

임상미생물검사(Clinical microbiology) 각종 감염증의 원인 균에 다양한 검체에 대해 검사를 시행합니다.

혈액은행(Transfusion) 혈액의 불출, 운반, 폐기를 전담합니다. 수혈 전 검사 및 관리를 담당하며 수혈 예정 환자에 대한 혈액형 검사, 불규칙항체 선별 검사를 시행합니다.

응급검사(Stat Laboratory) 응급환자에 대한 신속하고 정확한 진료와 치료를 위해서 24시간 연중무휴로 응급검사를 시행합니다. 검사분야는 일반혈액 검사, 혈액응고 검사, 혈액가스 검사, 심장표지자 검사, 일반화학 검사, 요 검사를 시행합니다.
